A repair warranty is only worth what’s printed on the invoice. Before you let anyone put a part in your Samsung fridge or LG washer, know exactly what they’ll stand behind and for how long. Here’s the plain version.
What a good warranty covers
- Parts. If the part we replaced fails again inside the warranty window, you get a new one at no charge.
- Labor. If the same fault comes back because of the repair we did, the tech comes back on us.
What it doesn’t cover
- A different, unrelated part failing later. A new drain pump doesn’t warranty your control board.
- Physical damage or misuse after we leave.
- Damage from a power surge. That’s usually a homeowners insurance question.
- Manufacturer defects. Those ride on the product warranty, which is separate from our repair warranty.
Questions to ask any repair company
- What’s the warranty on parts, and on labor? Get two numbers.
- Is it written on my invoice, not just said out loud?
- If the same problem comes back in six months, who pays?
- OEM parts or aftermarket?
