Admiral was a Maytag build, so I run the model number through the Maytag and Whirlpool cross-reference before touching anything. On the ranges it's usually the gas thermocouple or the electric bake element that goes first, and both have generic cross-reference parts we carry on the truck. On the refrigerators it's almost always the defrost timer. We confirm the part is real and in stock before we order it.
