Keep the symptom separate from the guess
A Cove dishwasher can leave water above the filter, wash poorly, catch a rack, or put water at the front of the cabinet. Those clues do not all point to the same part. We record the cycle, check rack and spray-arm clearance, inspect the filter and drain path, and trace any leak before moving the unit.
Panel-ready doors add another check. A heavy cabinet front can change hinge and spring alignment, so a door that will not stay shut is not automatically a latch failure. We inspect the fit before ordering parts.
Poor cleaning gets its own sequence. We look for a packed filter, blocked spray ports, rack interference, correct fill, and wash pressure. A noisy cycle may be an object in the pump path, a loose spray arm, or a motor condition. Those symptoms can sound alike from the kitchen, so the first visit is for reproducing and measuring the fault rather than selecting a part by sound.
What the visit covers
The visit is $99 and covers the diagnosis, including additional appliances checked during that same visit. The fee is credited toward an approved repair. For a Cove unit, the written scope identifies the symptom we reproduced and the work proposed before the repair begins.

Stop the cycle if water reaches the cabinet or floor. A towel can contain a small spill, but repeated test cycles can turn a seal or hose problem into cabinet damage. Leave the filter and any loose debris in place if removing them would require tools.
