Check the simple causes before the sump
A Maytag dishwasher that will not fill can have a door-latch, float, supply, or inlet-valve fault. We verify the safety chain and water path first. A machine that leaves water behind gets a filter, hose, and drain-pump check in that order.
Water under the unit can come from the door area, a hose connection, the sump, or the circulation-pump seal. We trace it during the part of the cycle when it appears. Replacing a gasket without finding that timing is guessing.
Our first-visit checks include the door safety circuit, water supply and fill, filter and drain route, wash pressure, visible leak points, and any stored fault information. The repair-or-replace call comes after testing
The visit is $99 and includes the diagnosis of additional appliances checked at that same visit. The fee is credited toward an approved repair. We provide the repair price in writing, including the option to stop when replacement makes more sense.
We take Maytag dishwashers regardless of their original price. A latch, valve, hose, or drain repair can be reasonable. A large sump, pump, or control job can move too close to the price of another machine, and the written estimate makes that tradeoff visible before you spend more.
