Identify the affected zone

Do not repeatedly reset or disconnect the refrigerator. A reset can clear a message and hide the order of events. Keep the doors closed as much as practical and follow the manufacturer’s food-storage guidance if temperatures are uncertain.

Use only the current manual’s instructions to confirm or change the mode. Do not keep pressing button combinations from an online video. A refrigerator can be warm for reasons other than Cooling Off mode, so the display observation should be checked alongside settings, frost, door closure, and the temperature pattern.
Record other messages exactly as they appear. Avoid repeated button presses that erase the original state. If the refrigerator repeatedly trips power, smells hot, shows smoke, or has exposed wiring, stop using it and keep clear.
Observe doors, frost, and cabinet space
Open and close each main door and the FlexZone drawer normally. Look for a container that prevents closure, a folded gasket, or a visible gap. Do not force a hinge, adjust the seal, or pull a built-in appliance away from cabinetry.
Record visible frost on a door edge, interior wall, drawer, or accessible vent. Do not apply heat or remove a panel. Frost can affect airflow and fan noise, but location alone does not establish a failed component.
Look around the refrigerator for a new obstruction without moving it. Keep hands away from coils, fans, wiring, and hot surfaces. Write down the last normal cooling, first message, first ice change, filter event, power interruption, and prior service.
