Airflow still causes plenty of trouble. Dust on the condenser and a weak condenser fan raise cabinet temperature and work the compressor hard. Torn or flattened door gaskets add a steady heat load. We clean, meter, and temperature-test the unit before turning a warm-cabinet complaint into a sealed-system quote.

Wine-Mate cellar cooling units need refrigeration diagnostics, not appliance guesswork. We check the thermostat, evaporator airflow, compressor circuit, and refrigerant side in order. The same goes for a compressor beverage center that runs but will not pull down to temperature.

Here is the repair-or-replace math. If a thermoelectric cabinet sold for about $400 or less, a control board can put the repair too close to replacement cost. A fan or cooling module may still make sense. Compressor cabinets, built-in dual-zone units, and Wine-Mate cellar systems usually justify a real diagnosis because replacing the equipment and fitting it back into the opening costs much more.
