KitchenAid double oven not heating, Danville
The upper oven wouldn’t come up to temperature. On a double oven that usually means one thing: the bake element has burned through. We confirmed it on the meter, no continuity, and there was the tell-tale break in the coil.
It’s a wall oven set into the cabinets, so we eased the unit out without marking the surround, put in a genuine KitchenAid element, and checked the power supply and thermostat to make sure nothing else was dragging it down.
Buttoned it back up, ran a bake cycle, and it held even heat again. Clean job, cabinetry untouched, done in one visit. A bake element runs a lot less than a new oven, so this was an easy repair-or-replace call: fix it.
