Kitchen hood that stopped clearing the air in San Ramon
The call A San Ramon homeowner noticed their range hood wasn’t pulling smoke or cooking smells out of the kitchen anymore, and it kept cutting in and out mid-cook.
What we found We went through the blower motor, switch, light circuit, filters, and duct. The blower motor assembly was worn out. That’s what dropped the airflow and caused the on-again-off-again running.
The fix Replaced the motor assembly, cleaned the grease off the internal parts and filters, and tested every fan speed to confirm it moved air steadily.
How it turned out Back to clearing the kitchen the way it should, quiet and even across all speeds. We do this same blower and motor work on most range hood repair calls, and we cover San Ramon appliance repair out of our home shop.
