GE induction range, Concord: burners cutting out
The range was heating on and off and kept losing track of the pan, so elements dropped out in the middle of cooking. On an induction range that points at the power electronics, not the glass top.
We ran the control board, the power modules, the coils, and the touch interface. One of the induction power modules had failed and was giving inconsistent heat. We replaced the module, confirmed the range was getting clean, correct voltage, and recalibrated pan detection.
Every element makes full output now and pan sensing is reliable across the top. The module swap cost a fraction of a new range, so the owner kept the one they had. That’s the call we make most weeks on induction: the electronics fail long before the cooktop does, and the part is usually worth it.
