The call
Livermore homeowner with a ZLINE range. The burners weren’t lighting consistently, the oven ran uneven, baking was unreliable, and they caught a whiff of gas now and then. The range was still under manufacturer parts warranty.
What we found
We ran the $75 diagnostic and a full gas-range check: burner ignition and flame quality, the oven igniter, the gas valve and regulator, the electrical connections, and oven calibration. The list came back as a worn oven igniter causing slow ignition, a couple of clogged burner ports, a loose connection at the ignition module, and an oven that had drifted out of calibration.
The fix
The igniter shipped from ZLINE under warranty. We cover the install labor under our standard parts-and-labor terms, subject to your contract. We fitted the OEM igniter, cleared and cleaned the burner ports, secured and tested the electrical connections, recalibrated the oven, and ran full operational and safety testing, including a gas-leak check.
How it turned out
Burners light clean, flames hold steady, the oven keeps its setpoint, and there’s no more gas odor. Back in service the same visit. If your ZLINE range is slow to light, baking uneven, or you smell gas, shut the gas off and schedule a visit. Gas faults we treat as a priority.
