The Emerald Hills kitchens are the ones due for Star Burner ignitor and hinge cartridge work right now. Redwood Shores runs newer and is mostly still inside its first ten years, so the calls out there lean more toward induction cooktop faults than the mechanical range parts.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Dual-fuel range Star Burner ignitor. No spark on ignition, worst on the Emerald Hills installs pushing past year eight. Ignitor and harness replaced as a set.
- M Series wall oven hinge cartridge. Heavy door sags and the seal opens at the hinge side. We swap the cartridge and reset the gasket.
- Induction cooktop generator board. Element fault code, cooktop cuts power mid use. We test the board first, and this shows up more on the newer Redwood Shores builds.
- Warming drawer element and thermostat. No heat from the drawer, or it runs away hot. Element checked, thermostat replaced when it is the fault.
