In these older kitchens a DishDrawer can weep tiny amounts past an aging lid seal for months before enough water collects in the base to trip the flood switch. By then the base pan has mineral stains telling the story. We replace the seal, verify actuator travel, dry and reset the flood system, and check the cabinet floor for damage while we are under there.
Fridge defrost heater failure. An RF-series fridge running warm with a full frost blanket on the back freezer wall needs its defrost heater tested, and in most cases replaced. We also test the drain heater path so meltwater does not refreeze into a sheet of ice under the freezer floor, which is the classic follow-up complaint when only half the job gets done.
