Downtown near Broadway and the courthouse, the older apartment units are due for a defrost overhaul, heater, thermostat, or timer, and I test all three before I swap anything. The AGR gas ranges in that older stock lose the surface igniter first, the same part that fails everywhere else this range is installed.

- Bottom-freezer ice maker line freeze (ARB). Ice maker fill line frosts solid and stops production. I thaw the line and check the water valve before condemning the ice maker module.
- AER oven sensor drift. Oven runs hot or cold against the dial setting. Usually the RTD sensor reading wrong, not the control board. Stocked part.
- AGR surface igniter. Clicks without lighting. The igniter goes before the valve usually. We provide a written repair estimate after the on-site diagnosis and before any work starts.
- Top-freezer defrost diagnosis. Heater, thermostat, timer, tested in sequence on the older downtown units. No parts swapped on a guess.
