Dishwasher door popping open mid-cycle. On Amana ADB models the door latch assembly wears until the door drifts open and the cycle halts. In Saratoga rentals I see it accelerated by tenants leaning the door down as a shelf. The latch is a stocked part, and I adjust the strike plate so the door seals firmly again.
Top-load washer draining slow and smelling. Ranch-house laundry rooms plumbed in the 60s have marginal standpipes, and an NTW drain pump half-jammed with a sock or coin makes it worse. I clear or replace the pump, part W10536347 on most of these, and check the drain hose height so the fix actually holds.
Fridge compressor short-cycling in a hot garage. Saratoga garage fridges cook in summer, and heat kills the start relay and overload on Amana ART and ASI models. The fridge clicks, runs a minute, stops. The relay kit is inexpensive, and I clean the condenser coil at the same visit since a dirty coil in a hot garage is what stressed the relay to begin with.
