French-door fridge evaporator fan icing. Same failure I see across the Peninsula, drain tube freezes shut, water backs up behind the freezer wall, and the evap fan starts hitting ice and rattling. Thaw the line, replace the drain heater and fan motor, confirm the drain runs clear before I close it up.
Wall oven hidden bake element burnout. Common in the older Burlingame flats running original ovens. Bottom heat drops out, top element still works fine, and bakes come out raw on the bottom. I confirm the element with a continuity check before ordering the part.
Front-load washer door lock and interlock failure. Older stacked units in the flats near the avenue see this a lot, the door lock solenoid wears out or the interlock switch fails, and the washer will not start or will not release the door at the end of the cycle. Interlock assembly replacement, tested through a full cycle before I leave.
