It is not a knock on the machines. It is the parts pricing. What a circulation pump, a control board, or a touch panel costs on one of these, set against what the dishwasher sold for new, turns the repair into a bad buy for you more often than not. We would rather tell you that here than charge you $99 to say it in your kitchen.

Induction cooktop power module fault (F47/E5). The cooling fan behind the induction elements gets blocked by dust and grease, the IGBT power module overheats, and the cooktop throws a fault code and shuts an element down. Clean the vent, confirm airflow, and it is usually back in service without a board swap.
Wall oven door hinge sag. Original hinges in the older Emerald Hills ovens stretch out over the years. The door starts sitting crooked, heat leaks past the top of the gasket, and that heat eventually cooks the control board sitting right above it. Hinges are the cheap fix. Waiting for the board to fail is not.
French-door fridge evaporator fan icing. Redwood Shores condo kitchens run this model a lot. Drain tube freezes shut, water backs up, the evap fan ices over and starts rattling in the freezer. Thaw the line, replace the drain heater and fan motor.
