French-door fridge main control board fault. Display goes blank or shows a fault code, temperature setting will not hold. I test the board and the wiring harness feeding it before I order a new board, since a loose connector causes the same symptom and costs nothing to fix.
Induction cooktop touch control unresponsive. Steam from a tight galley kitchen near the station gets into the touch panel seal over time, and buttons stop registering reliably. Panel replacement, sealed properly on reinstall.
Compact condenser dryer clogged condenser unit. Stacked laundry closets in the newer Millbrae condo buildings mostly run Bosch's ventless condenser dryers. No exterior vent means all the lint has to be caught internally, and when the condenser unit clogs, dry times stretch out and the unit runs hot. Pull the condenser, clean it out, check the door seal.
