Sealed system faults on LG built 795 French doors. Kenmore Elite French door units from the mid 2010s are LG inside, linear compressor and all. When one stops cooling with the fans still running, I put gauges on it before saying the word compressor, because a restriction or a leak shows the same symptom to the owner but takes a different fix. Either way it is in house work, not a subcontract.
Standalone freezer temperature drift in garages. Blackhawk garages hold a lot of Kenmore upright freezers, and the common failure is slow drift, ice cream soft, then frost on the packages. Usually the cause is a tired door gasket or a defrost cycle failing partway, not the compressor. I check gasket pull with a paper strip test and go from there.
Warm fresh food section from a stuck damper. Side by side Kenmores move freezer air to the fridge side through a motorized damper, and when it sticks closed the fridge side climbs into the fifties while the freezer stays perfect. On 106 units the damper assembly is a stocked part and the repair fits inside a single visit.
