Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Dishwasher standing water after the cycle. Whirlpool dishwashers drain through a small pump that eats glass shards and fruit stickers for a living. When water pools in the sump after a cycle, I check the pump, the check valve, and the drain path including the air gap on the counter. In Los Altos Hills kitchens with older plumbing the air gap is the culprit surprisingly often, and that costs almost nothing to fix.
French-door fridge cooling unevenly between compartments. Whirlpool's french-door models move all their cold air from the freezer evaporator through a damper into the fresh food section. A stuck damper or dead evaporator fan gives you a warm fridge over a working freezer. Both parts are accessible without touching the sealed system, so this is usually a one-visit repair.
Top-load washer banging on spin. The suspension rods on Whirlpool vertical-axis washers sag with age, and then any slightly uneven load sends the basket into the cabinet. It sounds catastrophic and it is not. A set of four rods restores balance, and I check the drive block at the same time since worn ones cause the same symptom.
