Whirlpool dishwashers are not a repair we take. Not any model, any year.
It is not a knock on the machines. It is the parts pricing. What a circulation pump, a control board, or a touch panel costs on one of these, set against what the dishwasher sold for new, turns the repair into a bad buy for you more often than not. We would rather tell you that here than charge you $99 to say it in your kitchen.
Everything else from these brands we still fix: refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, washers, and dryers. We repair dishwashers from every other brand.

Whirlpool dishwashers are not a repair we take, so in South San Francisco our work is the fridge, the washer, the dryer, and the range. The range gets the heaviest daily use in these kitchens, and the bake element is usually the first thing to burn through.
East of 101, the biotech campuses around Oyster Point and Utah Avenue run their own facilities contracts, so that side of town doesn't show up on our schedule. Our calls stay west of the freeway, in the hillside neighborhoods and the flats near Grand Avenue. We keep a technician based in San Mateo County, which keeps South San Francisco a short drive instead of a haul from the San Ramon shop.

- Range bake element replacement. Oven won't heat, or one side of the cavity glows and the other stays cold. The element bolts in from the back, and most ranges are back together in about 20 minutes.
- WRF/WRX fridge evap fan motor. Freezer starts humming, then rattling, while the fresh-food side creeps warm. I confirm ice contact on the fan blade before I order the part.
- Cabrio lid switch and gearbox bearing. Sometimes it's a no-start, sometimes a grind partway through the spin cycle. Both trace back to the same Maytag Bravos platform sitting under the Whirlpool badge.
