KitchenAid built-in refrigerator, range, and wall oven repair for South San Francisco, from a Peninsula-based technician.

Straight answer
KitchenAid dishwashers we do not take.
KitchenAid dishwashers are not a repair we take. Not any model, any year.
It is not a knock on the machines. It is the parts pricing. What a circulation pump, a control board, or a touch panel costs on one of these, set against what the dishwasher sold for new, turns the repair into a bad buy for you more often than not. We would rather tell you that here than charge you $99 to say it in your kitchen.
Everything else from these brands we still fix: refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, washers, and dryers. We repair dishwashers from every other brand.
That answer does not change by town, so it holds in South San Francisco the same as anywhere else we run. Call us on the rest of the kitchen and we will be out.
- Serviced: Fisher & Paykel, Miele, Cove, Asko. We also service every other residential and commercial brand.
- Not serviced: LG, Samsung, Bosch, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Jenn-Air dishwashers
- Still serviced on those brands: refrigerators, ranges, ovens, cooktops, washers, dryers

What the work looks like
A built-in sealed-system leak repair.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Wall oven temperature sensor drift. Bake reads 350 on the dial but runs closer to 300 or 400. On these older remodels the sensor probe has usually been in service well over a decade. I measure sensor resistance against the factory chart before replacing anything, so we are not guessing.
- Built-in refrigerator icemaker module failure. Common in the newer condo builds east of 101, where the icemaker fills but will not dump the tray. Usually the auto-eject motor or the module itself, and I check the water inlet valve at the same visit so it is not a second trip.
- KRFC/KBFN compressor failure. The year-six to seven failure window shows up here the same as anywhere. I confirm it with an amp draw reading before opening the sealed system, then do the recovery and swap together.

FAQ
KitchenAid in South San Francisco questions, answered.
-
Do you actually cover South San Francisco, given how far San Ramon is?
Yes. We keep a technician based on the Peninsula in San Mateo County, so South San Francisco is local coverage, not a drive across the bay. We do not promise same-day, but next-day scheduling is typical with a written arrival window. -
Do the biotech campuses east of 101 change anything about your service?
Not directly. Those are office and lab buildings, not homes. Our South San Francisco calls mostly come from the residential streets in Winston Manor, Serra Highlands, and around Sign Hill, plus the newer condo towers nearby.
