Belmont's older housing climbs the hills around the Ralston corridor, some of it dating back to the estate era before the neighborhood filled in with family homes. Water pressure varies more here than in the flatter Peninsula cities, running higher at the bottom of the hill and thinner near the top, and that variance is part of why the TC and TR top-loaders' inlet valve is the repair I see most in Belmont.
