On the electric DC and DR dryers, the heating element is the no-heat call, and since we're already working out of San Mateo, getting parts and getting back out for a second visit if one's needed is faster here than almost anywhere else we serve.

- TC/TR inlet valve. Scale plugs the fill screens and the cycle runs long. Clean or replace the valve, add a supply filter where the plumbing allows.
- FF door boot and drain pump. Boot tears at the fold line with use. Pump impeller cracks from coins and wire. We provide a written repair estimate after the on-site diagnosis and before any work starts.
- DC/DR heating element. No-heat call on the electric dryer. Common part, usually stocked in most San Mateo households.

Almost always worth repairing. Valves, boots, pumps, and heating elements are inexpensive relative to a new machine. The one repair I actually weigh against replacement is a failed gearbox on a high-age TC or TR, and that's uncommon. -
My Speed Queen washer fills slow. What should I expect?
Nine times out of ten that's the inlet valve screens scaled shut. Cleaning or replacing the valve restores normal fill time, and I'll add a supply filter if your plumbing allows it.
