DCS, short for Dynamic Cooking Systems, is the pro-grade side of Fisher & Paykel. In Bay Area homes it shows up two ways: the indoor RGS gas range and the built-in outdoor grill. We service both, and here’s the honest read.

Most top-burner calls trace to the ignition chain. No spark usually means the electrode, the reignition module, the transformer, or the burner switch, and we meter the chain rather than guess. A burner that won’t drop to a low simmer, or one that burns yellow and noisy, is a gas-air problem, often the wrong orifices left in after a propane conversion. On the oven it’s the bake glow-bar igniter that’s lost enough current draw to keep the safety valve shut, so the oven won’t light.
