Yes, we service ILVE. Most of our work is everyday brands, but we get the Italian ranges too, so here’s the plain read for an owner.

ILVE builds the brass-trim Nostalgie, the Majestic, and the Professional Plus. Nice to look at, and fussier than a domestic range to keep running. The faults are practical, not exotic. A burner clicks but won’t light, that’s the spark module or an igniter switch. The oven fires and then dies a few seconds after you let go of the knob, that’s the flame-failure safety, the thermocouple and its valve. Dual-fuel models add an electric oven, so there it’s usually the bake element or the selector switch. The heavy oven doors wear their hinges and gaskets, which shows up as slow preheat and a hot door front.

The real catch with ILVE is parts. Most of it ships from Italy, so a wrong guess means weeks waiting on the wrong component. That’s the whole argument for diagnosing to the exact failed part before anything gets ordered. A range this expensive is almost always worth fixing. You just want to order once and wait once.
