- Burner clicks repeatedly without lighting. The switch for that burner, or the spark module it shares with the others, has quit. I test each burner on its own circuit so I am not swapping a part that was never the problem.
- Oven lights and then the flame dies. When the oven flame dies shortly after lighting, the cause is almost always the thermocouple or flame-failure device giving up on the valve, not the valve itself. I confirm which one with a meter, then order just that part.

- Door sags, or you can feel heat escaping at the seal. Hinge springs wear out under the weight of a cast door after enough years of use. I check hinge, gasket, and bake element together before deciding which one is actually causing the leak.
