Someone opened up the kitchen in a 1960s house near Ygnacio Valley or off Clayton Road and put in a 36 inch Professional Plus because it cost less than the American luxury names while still looking the part.

The trouble is that most appliance shops in the area will not touch the brand. Owners call around, hear no three or four times, and then the range sits half-working for months. One burner out, oven overshooting, door hanging loose. We service ILVE as part of our normal residential work, and Concord is a straightforward run up 680 for us.

What we close on the truck.

Triple ring burner lighting unevenly. The big center burner on the Professional Plus has inner and outer rings, and when the ports carbon up the outer ring lights with a delayed pop. That small gas puff eventually cracks the cap. We strip the burner, clear every port, and check the electrode gap so both rings light together.
Dual fuel oven element burnout. Concord buyers often chose the dual fuel version, and the electric bake element is a wear item. The oven heats slowly or the broiler works while bake does not. We test the element for continuity and check the relay on the way, since a stuck relay will kill a new element early.
Knob ignition switch shorting. The microswitches behind ILVE knobs get fouled by boil-overs, and then every burner clicks whenever you turn any single knob. It is annoying and it wears the spark module. We replace the affected switch bank rather than the whole harness when the rest tests clean.
