- Profile refrigerator icemaker stops making ice. The icemaker module or the auger motor quits and the bin sits empty while the rest of the fridge runs fine. - Front-load washer (GFW) throws a drain fault. The pump clogs or the filter loads up and the washer stalls with water still in the drum. Common in the smaller homes and apartments on the east side. I check the filter first since it's the faster fix.
- Cafe range oven temp sensor (RTD) F2 fault. The sensor drifts out of range and the oven either undercooks or trips an over-temp code outright. I test resistance against spec before swapping it, so you're not paying for a part that wasn't the problem.
- Electric range burner switch, east side builder-grade units. On the older JB-series ranges near the tracks, the infinite switch behind the knob fails more often than the burner coil. A burner stuck on high or one that stays cold is usually the switch. I test both before I replace anything.
