RF-series French door ice maker frozen solid. The in-door ice room on RF28 and similar models lets moist air leak in, the tray ices over, and the auger stops. Chipping the ice out fixes it for a month. The real repair is the updated ice maker assembly plus sealing the ice room, which is how we do it, and that work is covered for a full year on the part.
Dryer runs but makes no heat. On Samsung electric dryers the DC47-00019A heating element coil breaks open, often because a long garage vent run made the element cycle hot. We test the element, both thermostats, and the thermal cutoff, replace what failed, and check the vent so the new element does not cook itself the same way.
RF-series icemaker assembly. Ices over and stops dropping cubes. We identify the assembly version and check Samsung's recall coverage before ordering. If uncovered, upgraded part plus labor.
