What we close on the truck.

Frost buildup on back interior panel. A soft door gasket lets fog-damp air into the cabinet faster than the coil can handle, and the back panel ices over. We test the gasket seal before we touch the fan motor, since the gasket is the cheaper part and the more common cause here.
RF-series icemaker assembly. The icemaker slows down and then stops dropping cubes, usually starting with the auger struggling before the assembly ices over completely. We check current Samsung recall or replacement coverage before we order the part.
Dryer heating element, partial failure. Clothes come out of a full cycle still damp instead of hot. Usually the element is heating weakly instead of dead, so we test it against the thermal cutoff and replace whichever one is out of spec.
