Cool, damp mornings under the redwoods off Skyline Boulevard push moisture and grease into the touch-pad seam faster than a drier kitchen would see, and the speed buttons go intermittent well before the blower gives out. We clean and re-seal the pad first and carry the broiler kit, so the range and the hood get handled in one stop.

- Broiler ignitor and thermocouple replacement. Pro and Autograph ranges from 36 to 48 inch. The ignitor and the upper thermocouple fail as a pair once the infrared broiler has run hot for a while. We replace both together and verify the micro-switch before calling it done.
- Hood touch-pad and control board. Grease finds its way into the touch-pad seam and the speed buttons go first. We clean and re-seal the pad, and only swap the board if the touch sensors test dead underneath. The blower itself is rarely the problem.
- Dual-fuel cool-down fan fix. A mislocated thermistor on early production runs leaves the convection fan running long after the oven shuts off. We install the relocation bracket and file the part under Z-Line warranty when the unit still qualifies.
- Burner spark and re-light service. Spark module and igniter electrodes on the pro burners, usually after a deep clean floods the burner wells. We check continuity before replacing anything.
