It is not a knock on the machines. It is the parts pricing. What a circulation pump, a control board, or a touch panel costs on one of these, set against what the dishwasher sold for new, turns the repair into a bad buy for you more often than not. We would rather tell you that here than charge you $99 to say it in your kitchen.

Linear compressor failure on French door refrigerators. LFXS and LMXS series units from roughly 2014 to 2019 are the classic case. The fridge slowly loses cooling, the freezer thaws first, and the compressor runs constantly without pulling temperature down. We confirm it with gauges, not guesswork, then replace the compressor with the updated FLB075 part and pull a proper vacuum. This is sealed-system work, so it carries our one-year warranty, or two years on a full rebuild.
LE error on LG front-load washers. Garage laundry rooms in Alamo run hot in summer, and the direct-drive motors on WM series washers throw the LE code when the hall sensor on the rotor fails or the wiring to it degrades. The drum stops mid-cycle with a full load of water. Usually it is a sensor swap, sometimes the stator, and either way it is a repair worth doing because the rest of the machine is solid.
Ice maker and ice room fan faults. On door-in-door models the ice maker lives in its own cooled compartment in the door. When the ice room fan ices up or the auger motor quits, you get hollow cubes or none at all while the fridge itself cools fine.
