Cupertino is not LG's stronghold. The west side toward Stevens Creek and the Apple Park-adjacent rebuilds run Sub-Zero columns and Thermador, not LG. Where we do see LG in 95014 is the flatter eastern grid, the older homes that haven't been gutted, the rental units, and the ADUs and garage kitchens behind the bigger houses. LG French-door fridges and dual-inverter washers are common in those, and the 2014 to 2019 fridges sit in the linear-compressor window. Compressor runs, box stays warm, no cooling. We check the serial against LG's program before quoting.

The LG laundry in these homes is mostly the dual-inverter front-loaders. LE motor faults trace to a drifted rotor-position sensor, and UE unbalance codes are usually worn suspension rods rather than the load. We test the rods first. Newer LG fridges here are past the linear compressor and fail at the evap-fan motor and icemaker, both short fixes. Whatever LG you have, we diagnose it honestly and tell you where you stand on warranty before opening a panel.

Evap-fan motor and icemaker on newer LG. Two failures that show up once a post-2020 LG fridge has a few years on it. Parts are usually in stock.
Dual-inverter washer LE and UE faults. LE points to the rotor-position sensor. UE more often means the suspension rods have worn out. We check the rods on a service cycle before we touch the motor.
LG range ignition switch failure. When the burner won't spark, the control-knob ignition switch is the usual culprit. We replace it and test ignition.
