Linear compressor failure with hot side panels. A failing LG compressor runs continuously trying to keep up, and owners often notice the cabinet side panels getting hot before the food warms. That heat is the condenser loop working overtime. We confirm with current draw and pressures, then do the full compressor job. Catching it at the hot-panel stage sometimes saves the food, so call when you notice it, not a week later.
Washer LE and rotor position sensor faults in garage installs. Saratoga garages swing from cold winter mornings to 100-degree summer afternoons, and the hall sensor on LG direct-drive motors dislikes both extremes. The LE code stops the drum mid-wash. Sensor replacement is a routine visit for us, and while the rotor is off we inspect the stator windings so you are not paying for a second teardown in six months.
Ice maker failures on door-in-door refrigerators. No ice with a perfectly cold fridge is the signature complaint. On these LG doors the ice compartment has its own fan and thermistor, and either one failing lets the compartment warm just enough to stop production. We test the fan, the fill valve, the auger motor, and the hinge wiring harness, then fix the actual failed piece instead of throwing a whole ice maker assembly at it by default.
